On the occasion of the official presentation of the new UAE Ambassador to the European Council on Tourism and Trade President, H.E. Professor Dr. Anton Caragea reconfirmed his commitment in supporting Dubai hosting the WORLD EXPO 2020 and his attendance to the event.
The credence presentation and subsequent bilateral discussion, has marked the debut of mandate for H.E. Ahmed Abdullah Al Matrooshi to the European Council on Tourism and Trade President (ECTT).
Receiving the United Arab Emirates top diplomat H.E. Professor Dr. Anton Caragea, has officially presented the congratulations for the upcoming new ambassador noting the European side hopes for a fruitful cooperation.
H.E. President Dr. Anton Caragea also has marked the long history of bilateral exchanges in the fields of culture, tourism and high level political dialogue and has underlined the ECTT-UAE connections.
Professor Dr. Anton Caragea also underlined the significance of this dialogue when ECTT was the global institution in the world to present the official support for Dubai candidature for host city for WORLD EXPO 2020.
In the dialogue that followed, the two dignitaries shared key moments in the bilateral friendship like the official visits in 2012, 2013, 2014, and the subsequent high level dialogues that allowed European Council on Tourism and Trade the opportunity to mark the intention to foster bilateral cooperation and consolidated relations and this desire is still present and representing our vision in the bilateral relations, stated the The President of the global tourism institutions.
Prof. Dr. Anton Caragea express his amicable fillings and friendly interest towards the recent evolution`s in United Arab Emirates that are consolidating the country`s economic development, open society and also the new economic, touristic and cultural promotion projects launched by the emirates of Ras Al Kaimah, Ajman and Fujairah.
Were also tabled issues like diverse international candidatures for world tourism and cultural awards on behalf of diverse emirates and personalities from Emirates and Professor Dr. Anton Caragea outlined his support for these strings of initiatives.
H.E. Ambassador Ahmed Abdullah Al Matrooshi expressed his gratitude for the good wishes related to his new mandate and presented the latest achievements in bilateral relations: developing cultural relations and building new bridges of understanding between European Council on Tourism and Trade and United Arab Emirates.
The parties had appreciated that between European Council on Tourism and Trade and UAE there are large areas of common interests, designed to forge a good understanding.
If in the last decade the bilateral dialogue with this area was faltering, now it is an auspicious moment for reconstructing and rebuilding this framework of dialogue and friendship.
The dialogue had continued on concrete aspects and analyses of tourism, travel, political and cultural bilateral relations and on ways of fostering this dialogue on to the future.
The discussion led the foundations of continuing the dialogue and fostering the relations between the world tourism institution and United Arab Emirates.
